Group Bookings

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh invites you to visit Surgeons' Hall Museums, to discover the fascinating history of surgery in Edinburgh and beyond. Special guided tours of Surgeons’ Hall Musuems for groups of between 10-20 people run on Mondays at 2pm (Museums areas and upper gallery of Pathology Museum) and 5:30-7:30pm (evening tours include access to the College building and the Museum areas).

These tours are for group bookings only. Afternoon visits can be paid for on the day or by invoice; the cost for afternoon visits are £3/5 per ticket. Evening visits have a fixed cost of £75 and must be paid for in advance by cheque payment.

As we have a small number of guides, and places fill up quickly, we ask a minimum of four weeks’ notice when booking a tour . The tours, lasting for two hours, will take you through the Museums, exploring the collections and history as you go. There will also be time to look around the Museums independently and to ask your guide questions. Visiting parties will be escorted by a dedicated guide.
